Who We Are

Inpatient Drug Rehab Philadelphia is a referral and placement resource for inpatient addiction treatment. We are not a licensed treatment facility, detox center, or healthcare provider. Our office at 1500 Market Street in Center City is a business address where placement advisors verify insurance and coordinate admissions — no clinical care, diagnosis, or treatment happens here. Callers are connected with licensed inpatient programs in Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware, and surrounding counties that accept their insurance and have availability.

Our Mission

Philadelphia's overdose crisis has driven more than 1,000 deaths annually for most of the past decade. The decline to 1,045 deaths in 2024 came in large part from faster access to naloxone, treatment, and MAT. Our mission is to contribute to that decline by making the placement process as fast and clear as possible for callers who have commercial insurance and are ready for inpatient care.

Who Answers the Phone

Placement advisors answer the phone — 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Advisors are trained in insurance verification, Pennsylvania Act 106 compliance, SAMHSA treatment-locator protocols, and the Philadelphia-area licensed inpatient network. Advisors are not clinicians. They do not diagnose, prescribe, admit, provide clinical care, dispense medication, or bill insurance directly. Those functions are handled by the licensed programs we refer to. What advisors do: listen, verify benefits, present in-network options, and coordinate admission.

Trust Commitments

Free insurance verification (no obligation). No calls are recorded without consent. No information is sold or shared beyond the licensed program you choose to engage with. Licensed programs we refer to are state-licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health for alcohol and drug treatment. We do not receive payment from callers — the licensed programs that accept referrals compensate us on a regulated basis that complies with the federal Eliminating Kickbacks in Recovery Act of 2018 (EKRA) and similar state rules.

What We Do NOT Do

We do not diagnose substance use disorders. We do not prescribe medication. We do not admit callers or provide any clinical care. We do not bill insurance directly. We do not guarantee admission outcomes, which depend on insurance eligibility, availability, and clinical fit at the licensed program you select.

Authoritative Resources We Reference

Philadelphia Department of Public Health — Substance Use Prevention and Harm Reduction (phila.gov). SAMHSA national helpline and treatment locator (findtreatment.gov). Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (samhsa.gov). These external authorities inform how we verify coverage, describe Act 106 rights, and present local overdose data.
